Obituary for Stephanie Lunn (Scovil) Barton

Stephanie Lunn (Scovil) Barton, 53, passed away Monday June 4, 2018, at a Bangor hospital. She was born March 26, 1965, in Fort Fairfield, the daughter of Dalton and Betty (Lunn) Scovil.
Stephanie grew up in Blaine and graduated from Central Aroostook High School in 1983. Stephanie loved to shop, especially at thrift stores or garage sales. She enjoyed worshiping at East Ridge Union Church and loved the people there.
In addition to her father Dalton Scovil and his wife Lori of Blaine, Stephanie is survived by three sons: Brady Burlock and his wife Kaley of Mars Hill, Corey Burlock and his wife Anita of Mars Hill, Josh Barton of Rhode Island, four grandchildren: Riley Burlock, Colby Burlock, Chase Burlock, Camden Burlock, longtime companion William Barton of Mars Hill and his daughter Brionna Barton. She also leaves behind five siblings: Cathy Mullen of Chapman, Beth McIntyre of Blaine, Lorie Scovil of New York, Brent Scovil of Blaine, Peter Scovil of Presque Isle, a special family friend Marjorie Terrell of Presque Isle, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Stephanie was predeceased by her mother Betty Scovil in 2013.
Friends may call 1:00 PM Sunday June 10, 2018 at the East Ridge Union Church, where a service will be conducted at 2:00 PM with Pastors Lawrence Beals and Leroy Frost officiating. Interment will immediately follow at East Blaine Cemetery. The family invites relatives and friends to a reception at the church fellowship hall following the burial.
